RAFARS at the RAF Shawbury Families Day
RAFARS attended the RAF Shawbury Families Day on Friday 22nd August. Robert GW6GBY and Gary G0DNI manned the stand and demonstrated 360 Radar aircraft tracking, HF, VHF and UHF (receive only) and a CW trainer.
AFB25 Special Event August 2025
AFB25 is focused on activating Airfield Bunkers, commemorating both Cold War and WWII military sites across the UK. The event runs throughout August 2025. Website bunkersontheair.org/site/afb25/
RAFARS AGM and Dinner 2025
The RAFARS 2025 AGM will take place at 1.30pm on Saturday 25th October 2025 at No 1 Radio School, Flowerdown Hall, RAF Cosford. The Dinner will be at 8.00 pm at the Ramada Hotel in Telford.
