After I took over the duties as RAFARS callsign coordinator in August, I thought it might be a good idea to put one of the RAF calls on the air for September to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
RAFAC will be holding another Exercise Blue Ham over the 18th - 19th October.
RAFARS attended the National Hamfest at the Newark Showground on Friday and Saturday 5-6 September 2025.
RAFARS attended the RAF Shawbury Families Day on Friday 22nd August. Robert GW6GBY and Gary G0DNI manned the stand and demonstrated 360 Radar aircraft tracking, HF, VHF and UHF (receive only) and a CW trainer.
The RAFARS 2025 AGM will take place at 1.30pm on Saturday 25th October 2025 at No 1 Radio School, Flowerdown Hall, RAF Cosford. The Dinner will be at 8.00 pm at the Ramada Hotel in Telford.
Dave Bloomfield G0KUC has volunteered to take on the role of RAFARS QSL Bureau and Awards Manager.
