A good turn out again today despite the weather warnings of heavy rain. Mark, MØHBQ, marked up the surplus equipment which has been entered into the VMARS auction on 7 March and took meal orders for the Club Members going, all but one being VMARS members. Roger the odd one out was assisting with using his trailer to move the items.
Later, Mark made up an aerial feeder for Roger, showing him how to put on an N Connector.
Dave, GØKUC continued with FT 8 operating assisted by Tony, G8VVZ. Dave showed the assembled members some of the QSL, EQSL and Awards which had been received recently.
Malcolm, G7VRT, discussed Full Radio Exam matters with John, 2EØFNC. John will be sitting the exam in the not to distance future and was keen to go over some of his revision topics.
