This past month of November has seen varied activity at RAF Halton RS. A vast amount of tidying and classifying has been done by various members under the watchful eye of Malcolm G7VRT. An attempt to fix a DAB radio by Nick, G8DWF, was unsuccessful. It was the old DAB1 type belonging to one of the station personnel so maybe the purchase of the newer more updated version will be the way forward.
G100HAL continues until the end of the year and logging is in a standard paper log.
The logging system for G1RAF uses the DXLab Suite of programs and has almost finished the second stage. Anyone operating using the FT2000MP should now log calls using the associated computer. Minor adjustments will be made on Saturday, December 7th. A set of instructions is available close to the transceiver.
The logging system is at present only for the call G1RAF.
The following is a set of stats for G1RAF for the month of November.
