Again, the Club met in the RAFA Building on the Airfield site.

Bacon Rolls on arrival with plenty of tea. The morning programme consisted of an attempt to contact the Berlin Airlift anniversary Stations using a battery powered QRP Station. Due to conditions, but due to conditions there was no success. However, we did just mange to talk to a Club Member. Alain G1IBP, who was operating in Lincolnshire. Conditions were not good enough for a meaningful contact.

We had two visitor, one a Radio Amateur who was looking for the Gliding Club and after a cuppa with him we directed him to the Gliding Club. The second visitor was someone who used to be a Trade Instructor on Site a few years ago. Much information was exchanged and cool drinks taken.

This coming Saturday the Club will meet and be looking at NVIS antennas.
