The Club will be on the Air using G1RAF on Battle Of Britain Day 15th September 2020. The Callsign GB80BOB will also be in Air and being used by a RAFARS member. Club Members will be taking it in turns to use G1RAF throughout the day. Various modes will be used including VHF/UHF, SSB, FT 8/FT4 and  BPSK31. More information will be posted here nearer the date.

Stop Press:
The Club Call G1RAF will be in use most of the day. The best time to catch the call is from around 09 00 through to mid night. The BPSK31 operation will be between 09 00 and 10.00 so dust off your keyboards.
From 11.00 we will first try 80 metres if conditions allow and some calls on 2 metres will be made.
Their will be some SSB activity around 14 00 hours and at other times during the day. Most operating is likely to be with FT8/FT4 on an assortment of frequencies.
A group has been set up on DMR Radio to included members of the Wireless Hill Museum in the Southern Perth suburb of Applecross. Other users have also been added from both Australia and New Zealand.
