There will be a fully manned, joint RSARS/RAFARS stand. and SES GB2NOR
Roy can not set up the stand and SES alone so please give him your support
especially if you live in NW England.

NEW FIELD REPRESENTATIVE.
I am glad to report that we now have a new Field Rep, G7AIR Ted 4684
in Cambridgeshire. Ted and myself will be working together
as Norfolk and Cambridge are quite close together relating to FR.

EQSL CARDS VIA THE INTERNET
GB2RAF RAFARS 4370 is now QRV on EQSL as a Bronze Member with GB2RAF
This is not only for RAFARS Members but also for World Wide AR Stations who
wish to QSL via the internet (we have to keep up with the times). This will
not effect our present Direct and QSL Bureau system.

GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD RAFARS PERMANENT S.E.S.
Conditions good up to 1230hrs on 80m then the whole of the Amateur Radio HF
bands was taken over by a PA Contest I must admit for contest lovers it was
ideal as all the bands where wide open. I did manage to work 26 Stations
which included RAFARS Members G7BQM G4YEP G3RAF G0REO GB2GM G3GDU G0GHK
G4PFR G3LOJ (G2VS GM4DLG ex RAFARS). On 20m N0Y Chinese New Year New York,
it is the Year of the Tiger.
GB2RAF should be QRV every 2nd Saturday of the Month 1000-1500hrs local on
RAFARS frequencies SSB or CW on 80m, or 40m if conditions are poor.
Equipment used Kenwood TS570D 100w output to an inverted V trap dipole.
