Are you eligible to join RAFARS?
Corporate Members
You may join as a Corporate Member if:
You are serving or have served with the RAF or one of it's Reserves.
OR
You are, or have been, a Civilian employed by the Ministry of Defence (Air).
OR
You are an Officer, Cadet or Instructors in the Air Training Corps or the Royal Air Force section of the Combined Cadet Force.
Associate Membership
You may join as an Associate Member if:
You are, or have been, connected with a Commonwealth, NATO or Allied Air Force in either a serving or a civilian capacity.
OR
You do not qualify for Corporate membership but, nevertheless, wish to assist the Society in achieving its published Aims.
Family Membership
Family membership is available to 2 or more members residing at the same address. Only one copy of each issue of any publication will be sent to a family address.
Student Membership
You may join as a Student Member if:
you can provide proof that you are in receipt of full-time Education or Training. Student membership may be continued after the first year if proof of continued student status is provided.
Note:Associate Membership and Student Membership is subject to approval by RAFARS Council.
Clubs & Societies wishing to Affiliate to RAFARS should contact the Treasurer or General Secretary.
Subscriptions
A one-off Registration Fee of £3.00 GBP should be added to the first years subscription listed below. This applies to all new members and those wishing to re-join. It does not apply to students.
* Corporate Membership £11.00 GBP
* Associate Membership £11.00 GBP
* Family Membership £18.00 GBP (2 members) - Each additional Family Member £9.00 GBP
* Student Membership £4.00 GBP
* Honorary Members: Free
Membership subscriptions fall due on 1st April annually, regardless of the date of joining the Society.
Members joining between 1st October and 31st March pay a half subscription plus the Reg. Fee for that year.
Applications with cheques, payable to RAFARS, should be sent to the General Secretary at HQ Cosford.
